Proud Parent Moment

My 7 year old whipped this story out for his Great Grandma Jean this week. He says he wants to be a writer when he grows up. I can see there might be something to that after reading this story. It was effortless to him. So here you go and see why we're proud of this kid. 

The Adventures of the Ancient Wonders

Chapter 1

The beginning was 2015, and Braeden was in Titusville, Florida with his Great-Grandmother Jean. GGJ for short. The time machine called the Electrical Time Machine, for short, the ETM. It just warps you there, but it depends how many years far away the destination is; so, for the year 1876, it takes 155 seconds. It is subtraction. This book was made 2015, so do the subtraction and see, I’m right. I took a P47, I flew it all by myself at 300 mph. I store my ETM in a container called the Time Machine Container. Once you turn it on, by a code 435292754437091, then the ETM appears. After 3 hours and 45 minutes, I arrived in her backyard. I was at an altitude of 750 feet to avoid the alligators. I waved to Mark the Alligator and he roared back “hello” in alligator language. GGJ made a magic landing runway on top of her roof. And when I landed, I went down the staircase with GGJ. Then I told her that I had some exciting news. I could go on a history adventure with GGJ, because I promised her to have an exciting adventure with her. We were going to ancient Egypt and ancient China.

Chapter 2

I turned on my Time Machine Container and told GGJ I still need to program it; GGJ helped me with the year of going back in time. First, we went to ancient China. When we arrived Empress Lei Zu welcomed us in the palace.

She gave us five pounds of golden silk and 50 Chinese dollars. She even made us one of the royal friends. She even gave us gold, silver, and others treasures like all of the royal friends. She let us be in the palace any time we want. And she also gave us 500 pounds of diamonds. She also gave us lots of silk clothing and she let us stay in her royal hotel. We ate rice and chicken for dinner at the table.

Chapter 3

Second, we went to ancient Egypt. Queen Ankhesenamun welcomed us, and introduced us to King Tutankhamun. Tutankhamun gave us treasures of all kinds. And told us about the sacred incision of hieroglyphics, and the secrets of Egypt. King Tutankhamun even made people build statues of us. We at some bread and dates.

Chapter 4

We were going to the Present, but got stuck in 2570 BC. We landed in the time of Pharaoh Khufu. We were going to fuel up and Pharaoh Khufu gave bread to us and we made fuel by putting sand in the engine. Then we made it safely home to our warm beds. GGJ thanked me for the adventure and I flew off in GGJ’s P51.

And that’s how GGJ and I went back in time. And they had many more back in time adventures.
