Warbird Roundup

The Warhawk Museum in Nampa has the biggest amount of WWII stuff gathered I have ever seen. I would love to go back there when the kids are older to spend more time reading through the history. It's  not a place to miss.

We listened to stories from a 95 year old WWII Ace would fought in the Pacific.
We sweated it out in 98* morning heat on the tarmac.
We were transported to the world of our grandparents listening to Glen Miller and experiencing their war.

We are looking into the air show in Reno to take Ian when he's a little older.

This is the plane used in the opening scene of Valkyrie. The plane you get a close up of as it strafes up Rommell and his men in Africa.

Propaganda for pilot school

My Gramps fixed P 51s and P 47s like these in England during WWII.

Look at all the swastikas earned

This kid loved the air show!!

Because I think it's important to document I took part in their life.

Mischief & Whining

That's what fills my day with these boys.

Meet Mischief. He does his fair share of whining.

We Could Be Friends...

Meet Jack's Cat aka CJ. He lives up the hill next door to my brother -in -law. I didn't know the cat's name until a week ago when someone called it out when we were on a walk. Yep, the cat takes walks with us. So for the last almost year I have been calling the cat by the little boy that owns the cat name. CJ just figured out where we lived this Spring. I think he took over the territory after the cat that roamed our yard previously moved. He is sitting outside my open office window as we speak and Brandon is having a conversation with him. CJ wants to adopt us. I don't want to adopt him :o)
I am fine with him taking walks with us and dropping dead baby bunnies off on our back porch, doing yard work with us and generally anything that is outside. So meet CJ our semi-adopted OUTDOOR cat.
The boys are in heaven!

"Come back Cat!"
