Happy 60th Poppa! It's a yummylicious cheesecake. The original "family" recipe is gluten free and I do share recipes. Just ask me for it!

"I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, goodwill to men!"

I'm 2 years old for a moment

The cars you bought for B, Great Grandma Jean.

The boys love playing the piano lately.

After Halloween clearance costumes for next year. Thomas & an airplane.  B thinks he will be ready for trick or treating.

The rains held off & we actually had an Autumn this year & got to enjoy the glory of this tree in our yard.

Birthday celebration  for Ian.

Monster truck for B & giant helicopter for I & a workshop for both.  Thanks Granny Bug & Poppa .

Gluten free & dairy free cupcakes are the best! Yummylicious as B would say.

"Everyday, you make me smile. Everyday, you make me glad to be a mother. Everyday, you make a memory I'll never want to forget. Everyday, I'm more thankful than the day before that you're my little boy. Everyday, I smell your hair and touch your skin and wonder how I ever lived my life without you."

A good snapshot stops a moment from running away.

"Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children."

That's right. Oct. 18th in the PNW it was the best weather I have ever seen at the coast. We ventured over knowing we wouldn't get another opportunity to see this weather. We had a blast running away from the waves. Who are we kidding? The weather may have been warm, but that water is freezing. Being a Tuesday afternoon, we didn't have to share it with many at all! The roar of the ocean kept Ian by my side for a good half an hour. The waves were crashing and put on quite a show, much different from his summer CA beach adventure. We are thankful for the summer weather break in the Fall.
