Reminders of the carefree days, building castles in the sand

 The boys loved the beach.  We spent our time sprinting after our boys who would have been thrilled to be swept out to sea.  Each day we had comments from people about the enormous energy level of our boys. The people had toddlers of their own who were happy to play in the sand and occasionally cautiously enter the water.  Our time was filled with laughter and sand.

A friendly sea lion sunbathing. People were within five feet of the animal. I wouldn't let us get closer than 30 ft.
